Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is a process of movement reeducation that facilitates an integration of mind-body function. It increases flexibility resulting in freedom and ease in everyday activity, sports, and performance. Emphasis is placed on learning the elements of poise and natural relationships in the body that lead to freedom in movement.

Lessons are 30, 45, or 60 minutes. Introductory workshops are occasionally offered so please check the classes page. Since the Alexander Technique is a skill, a course of 20-30 lessons is recommended to understand the basic principles and begin applying them.

Eduardo Cortina has been a Certified Teacher in the Alexander Technique since 2001 through Alexander Technique International.
